THINK CAUCASIAN WOMEN HAVE IT EASY?
Think again.....
I recently joined a hair forum ( I am the member of at least 5) where a majority of the posters are white women. There are a few African Americans that are on and that was to be expected.
The naive Sonya expected to see all these women with hair down to the floor and just talking about how wonderful their hair was because it was soooo long and beautiful.
Think again.
While a vast majority of them had hair longer than BSL....I even saw some ankle length hair!!!! AKA fairy tale hair! There were quite a few that struggled to get past SL or APL. Lengths that I thought caucasian women could achieve by blinking their eyes.
I did say that I was being incredibly naive right?
These women used Megatek, monistat and other hair growth aides that we use. They were just as obsessed with maintaining a healthy regimen like we are.
Turns out we aren't as different as we think, huh?
Ya. My mom is white and has flat blond hair. She's tried all kinds of products to get her hair to do something! Everyone has hair trouble! Something we can unite on!
