Chicago Girls Are Getting It Together

I have ranted and raved about the most famous style of them all....microbraids.

But if you look on the streets of Chicago, you are seeing more and more PROTECTIVE STYLES!

I counted 209 Doughnut buns today at work! Young ladies are pulling their hair back and placing it in a nice neat bun!

Wow! If they keep it up, we can finally show the world that long hair on black women is not an anomaly.

Now if only we can start convincing people to stop perming their three year olds hair or stop getting relaxers every 15 minutes.....

(I saw relaxer damage on a six year old covered up with black spray on hair....disgusting)
