Looking sexy failed here big time, but oh my god look at how beautiful my hair looks! For a 4A/B, I didn't have to do a thing really to blend. I just used dabs of Eco-Styler gel for a slicker look in the front!!!! I love it!!!!!
So what do you guys think, eh? I finally got the other batch one day earlier than expected! I did seal with Aileen's Fray Block on both sides and the shedding stopped BIG TIME! I highly highly highly recommend you seal this hair. It will shed until the wefts are bald! Believe me!
But of course I made some serious errors when purchasing.
1. I purchased only 4 oz for a partial when I needed at least six.
2. I purchased 28' and 20', stupidly thinking that the length wasn't going to be that big of a difference. (Look I basically had to be revived by doctors and paramedics last week, please cut me some slack)
3. I lost length because the differences were too stark. So I had to shape it to look presentable.
Suggestions for Taking Care of Kinky Curly Hair
This hair takes work just like your own natural hair. I recommend cowashing at least twice a week, twisting the hair and tying down with a scarf, or doing a braid out. But less manipulation is best. I just twisted the hair around into a big bun on top of my head and pinned in place so I can sleep.
Detangle with your fingers as much as possible.
Once you wet the hair, try not to touch it while it's drying. The hair will start to frizz. You can use frizz products with the hair but don't go overboard with it. Keep a light hand when possible.
Moisture, moisture, moisture. This is not get up and go hair folks. With some effort, you'll be stopping traffic with dead on KC.
I'll be back with Part Four in two weeks to report how the hair looks and is doing. As far as the customer service, ALL ABOUT MY HAIR IS OUTSTANDING! They answered all of my questions and concerns. Keep up the good work! |
It came out lovely. It looks very natural.
