All About My Hair Kinky Curly **Review**
This photo doesn't belong to me. You can find it at allaboutmyhair.com. I am just reviewing the hair and do NOT have the permission to use it. Will be taking more pictures of this hair soon because I got it while in the hospital. Clicking on the link will take you DIRECTLY TO THE WEBSITE.
So I was under the guise that all I needed was a few tracks in my head and a new purse from the hubby to get over my near death experience. I was very close to death, fell unconscious and had to be revived.
Why am I doing a hair review?
Cause time is short. LOL. My hubby purchased this hair for me, 28 inches but 4 oz. I was going to do a self-install and attempt a partial but I forgot one cardinal rule of weaves....
The longer the hair, the shorter the wefts....meaning you'll get more hair on a 12 inch bundle than you will a 28 inch bundle.
I had barely....barely barely enough...and even then I couldn't style the way I wanted to. So I bit the bullet, asked really quickly, and hubby reordered some more. So another 4 oz. 20 inch bundle will be here any day now.
I have installed the hair at least twice, unsatisfactorily. I began to split the wefts towards the end and it still wasn't enough. The hair is beautiful but ACTS JUST LIKE 4A/4B hair. I got these strange puff balls at the ends of mine. It was weird. I am still waiting to show the final results but I'm happy with the customer service. Questions were answered within 24 hours.
RANT Alert! (not related to my experience with allaboutmyhair)
Here is my thing with online stores. Most stores put their most frequented questions in the FAQ section, thinking that it will free up emails from customers asking the same questions over and over again.
May I remind you businesses, most women have done the research, saw the YOUTUBE gurus, and read the reviews. The real test is WILL YOU RESPOND TO ME NOW THAT YOU'VE GOT MY HARD EARNED MONEY? I don't care if its three of three thousand dollars. Treat every paying customer well and you'll get repeat customers and they'll bring followers.
I digress...
Despite the nerve damage, I'm going on with the weave anyway. I might as well make myself happy. Life is short ladies....it truly is. Hopefully none of you reading this blog will ever get too close before your natural time. My daughter would have fallen to pieces.
I will update this review soon!
