Natural Hair Care
Hello there! From the poll that we are conducting on the site, I noticed that a lot of you wear your hair natural! That's great! I wanted to provide more information about natural hair care for all of you!
One of the most difficult obstacles that natural hair wearers face is the period called, "transitioning". Transitioning means going from wearing relaxed hair to natural. I know this can be a troubling process for you as you decide what to do with your hair. The first start is growing out or cutting the relaxer out of your hair. Depending on how damaged your hair is, cutting the relaxed portion may be your best bet. There is a "line of demarcation" as your natural hair begins to grow within the next 2-4 weeks. Along this line is where the hair is the most fragile and can break off. Be careful not to apply too much heat to the hair.
Wearing braids or a sew in weave can be the best option for those of you that are in between the stages. Caution: make sure you take care of your hair when you take the braids or weave down. Its important that you keep your scalp clean and moisturized!!!! There are many braid sprays and products that you can buy! Organic Roots Stimulator make excellent products!!!!!!!!!! I especially like the hair mayonaise, the jojoba oil, and the carrot oil!! Check this website out for more information!! Send me your hair care tips and favorite products that you use!!!!http://http://www.organicrootstimulator.com
