My Protective Style Until Payday...
I am rocking the phony pony until I can get my hair done. I don't usually like ponytails but it will have to do. Two things I like about the ponytail is:
1. I normally wear a glue in bang but with my hair growth, I can swoop my own hair.
2. I can step up frequent washes and co-washes*, moisturize daily, etc. Having acess to my hair for the next few days is wonderful but I have to be careful about too much manipulation.
*co washing is short for conditioning wash. A wash where you don't use shampoo. You wet the hair and use conditioner. Stay away from silicone conditioners (Motions) but cheap conditioners can do the trick. (Suave, Dove) Massage into scalp and rinse.
