Small sidenote....

I remember the days that I used to see new growth in my hair and think, "Ugh, I need a relaxer right away!"

New growth was ugly and I didn't like nappy hair. I used to see women on the streets with nappy hair and I would think, "Sheesh! She needs a perm!"

Now new growth is a beautiful thing because I know my hair is growing and the chances are much better that its going to stay on my head instead of in the sink.

Love that lovely, nappy, kinky, curly, new growth!
