These make good points but they do it at the expense of others. This young lady has not made it clear what she wants and i’m glad that her face is not shown. However, it is trying to show that this woman, stemming from her own ignorance, would rather stay relaxed with hair that looks chewed up and unhealthy.

But honestly, it’s fear. Fear that many of these women have. They have never learned how to deal with their natural textures. Honestly, if the woman is not prepared to handle her texture, she’ll make things worse. She needs to educate herself on her hair texture and learn what she likes first. Then she can make choices based on that to promote healthier hair for herself. But it could work out to be a disaster if she just started chopping on her head without a game plan.
